About Me:

I don't like eggplant. Sun shines on the jagged line of snow-capped mountains that seem to hover on the horizon, their stone bases the same unreal blue as the wide, clear sky. Everything blooms, welcoming the sun: confetti flutters of cherry blossoms dot bare branches. Crocuses, daffodils, white narcissus, heads already heavy enough to bow slender stalks. Everywhere I turn there are sun-bright dandelions, giant overfed daisies, bristles of heather shaded pale with flowers. The candy tuft down in the rocks, the japonica above flowering like heavy bunches of pink or white grapes. Daphne scents the air for blocks after I pass. A lone rhododendron fully flushed pink stands near the blackberries still reaching like skeletal claws, waiting for the real warmth to come out. Magnolias with thick buds, swollen like something I could bite into and the sun shines and shines leaving me too warm in a t-shirt, tattoos blooming over my arms, an invitation to stare. Showing perhaps too much of who I really am to the strangers and tourists gathered around statues as I walk home. ☯ ❀ ✿ ❁ ✾ ★ ☆ ☼ ☀ ☁ ☂ ♪ ♫ ♩ ♬ ♭ ♮ ♯

Why I want to get in shape:

I want to be in the best shape of my life when I turn 40. I'm 5'3". SW: 163 CW: 126 GW: 125
