If you're looking for a diligent cheerleader who compliments you for Every. Single. Step. in the right direction, sorry... that's just not how I am. I don't reply to every diary entry completed, every exercise done, etc.
However, I do try to support others through more discussion-y comments. Questions, answers and discussions are my thing. Quick pats on the back... not so much (though I may post them from time to time).

I lift as heavy as I can 3x a week. I'm not strong yet, so "heavy as I can" isn't very heavy... which is changing, slowly but surely! Deadlifts are my favorite.
As of 2012 Oct 28, I do not log lifting on MFP; I have instead adjusted my activity level for weight lifting, and only log cardio.

Her name is Chaco. She is an Alaskan Malamute. In stark contrast to my previous malamutes (who were quite dignified... or at least, liked to think of themselves as such!), she is such a perennial baby.
Why I want to get in shape
Because I know I can.
