"Oh boy! It's going to be a LOOONNNGGG journey, but I'm NEVER turning back. I battle everyday and pray to come out victorious."

What I'm learning about health and fitness:
1. Weight loss can help improve fertility. As a colleague once said to me what better excuse do I need to lose weight?

Why I want to get in shape

I'm tired of being fat. I'm tired of worrying if I'll fit into a plane seat. I don't like the way my knees hurt. I want to carry a healthy baby to term.
Responsibility, discipline, and love. I'm doing this for myself! I want to be better. I want to run a mile and dance all night!

"The best day of your life is the one on which you decide your life is your own. No apologies or excuses. No one to lean on, rely on or blame. The give is yours - it is an amazing journey - and you alone are responsible for the quality of it. This is the day your life really begins." ~ Bob Moawad

......Build the bond.

The secret?
......Faith, Patience, Commitment and Consistency:
......What you give will return to you hundredfold.

The result?
......Faith, Patience, Commitment and Consistency:
......A lifetime of trust, adventure and together-love with the best friend you ever had.
I love myself. I am doing this all for me. Everything I do is for me I am going to look better and feel better for me. I want to look in the mirror and be attracted to the reflection I see staring back.
I'm so hungry I could even just eat vegetables? If the answer is No you arent truly hungry.
"To be beautiful means to be yourself. You don't need to be accepted by others. You need to accept yourself"
Discipline and habit that hold the keys to not only losing weight or getting strong, but to anything that we want in life. The big picture is always to eat real food in appropriate quantity and move in a manner that is continually challenging. The problem is not lack of knowledge or lack of motivation. The problem is lack of decision.
It's A Wonderful Life meaning. “We tend to forget that happiness doesn't come as a result of getting something we don't have, but rather of recognizing and appreciating what we do have."
I am not wasting any more time.
I will be a maintainer, and that is the ultimate success story.
"If you focus on results you will never change. If you focus on change, you will get results."
Is this food/binge/time on couch vs. excercise /ect. worth more to me than reaching my goal or having a lifetime of fitness and health?
A huge part of losing weight is believing that you can do it and realizing that it won't happen overnight.
Which feeling will be worse saying No and feeling deprivation or saying Yes and feeling guilt?

No one really cares if I succeed or fail but me.
Stop mourning the person I was and to welcome the person I have become.
Weight loss is very much a head game as much as it is a physical job.
As soon as I embraced my failures I started to succeed.
"Never confuse a single defeat with a final defeat."
Drown it with water. I need to drown my cravings. Craving carbs drown the carbs with water. Craving a binge? Drown it. Craving fat? Drown it. Sad and want to binge? Drown the sadness drown the anger drown the self loathing.
Father, I thank you for accepting me just as I am. I may not be perfect, but you know at least I'm trying my best and I'm going out today with my head held high, knowing that you are in the process of changing me.
Curiosity killed the cat. Dont know if I could live the rest of my life not knowing what would have happend if I had continued down the road to health. So the reason for me now to keep going is because I would hate never knowing what would have happened if I didnt take that initiative to move. for better or for worse who knows what the future holds. If I stay in bed and eat the windows close and the oppourtunities become small.

Julia Child's Quotes:
“The only real stumbling block is fear of failure. In cooking you’ve got to have a what-the-hell attitude.”
“Drama is very important in life: You have to come on with a bang. You never want to go out with a whimper."
“I don't believe in twisting yourself into knots of excuses and explanations over the food you make. When one's hostess starts in with self-deprecations such as "Oh, I don't know how to cook...," or "Poor little me...," or "This may taste awful...," it is so dreadful to have to reassure her that everything is delicious and fine, whether it is or not. Besides, such admissions only draw attention to one's shortcomings (or self-perceived shortcomings), and make the other person think, "Yes, you're right, this really is an awful meal!" Maybe the cat has fallen into the stew, or the lettuce has frozen, or the cake has collapsed -- eh bien, tant pis! Usually one's cooking is better than one thinks it is. And if the food is truly vile, as my ersatz eggs Florentine surely were, then the cook must simply grit her teeth and bear it with a smile -- and learn from her mistakes.”
“Find something you're passionate about and keep tremendously interested in it.”
“You'll never know everything about anything, especially something you love.”
“This is my invariable advice to people: Learn how to cook- try new recipes, learn from your mistakes, be fearless, and above all have fun!”
“Life itself is the proper binge.”
“...no one is born a great cook, one learns by doing.”
“Remember, 'No one's more important than people'! In other words, friendship is the most important thing--not career or housework, or one's fatigue--and it needs to be tended and nurtured.”
“I was 32 when I started cooking; up until then, I just ate”
“Always start out with a larger pot than what you think you need.
“Upon reflection, I decided I had three main weaknesses: I was confused (evidenced by a lack of facts, an inability to coordinate my thoughts, and an inability to verbalize my ideas); I had a lack of confidence, which cause me to back down from forcefully stated positions; and I was overly emotional at the expense of careful, 'scientific' though. I was thirty-seven years old and still discovering who I was.”
“Just speak very loudly and quickly, and state your position with utter conviction, as the French do, and you'll have a marvelous time!”
“...small helpings, no seconds, no snacking, and a little bit of everything. "
