About Me:

Hello my name is Dave, I was in the Army for 11 years, left in 2004 and broke my ankle 3 months later. Gained 60lbs due to a cast for 3 months and no activity and got up to 285lbs. I started going to the gym because I had enough, I started working out and getting back in shape. I was down to 230lbs and started to have issues with my right arm, come to find out I had two disks in my neck pushing in on my spinal cord and I had to have surgery to remove the them and fuse the vertebrae. I was down for 4 months in total and I gained back 15lbs... Surgery was in August 2017 and I am back in the gym working to lose it again.

Why I want to get in shape:

I want to look in the mirror and not think, yuck...
