10/26/2020 - I'm working on becoming more "consistent" on MFP and make logging a daily "habit" again. I've joined a few AWESOME accountability groups to see if it will help me to log everyday and stay accountable. For now, I don't want to bite off more than I know I'll be able to chew, so I'm tracking actual steps (goal is 75k per week, allowing myself 1 "pass" or rest day per week) and tracking everything I eat/drink, trying to eat LCHF, and trying to stay under my calorie goal (1400) and carb goal (<50) every day.

*I USE AN APP ON MY PHONE TO RECORD MY WEIGHT 2 or 3 TIMES PER WEEK. THE APP IS CALLED LIBRA WEIGHT TRACKER AND I LOVE THAT IT SHOWS TRENDS, AND ALSO IF YOU INSERT YOUR GOAL WEIGHT AND GOAL DATE, IT WILL SHOW YOU HOW YOU ARE DOING IN RELATION TO THAT GOAL.

I'm a Mom and a Grandma, and NOW I'm a "grandma the GREAT"! Yep! A GREAT GRANDMA to two precious little girls! I'm a Christian, and a Licensed Massage Therapist! I got married in April 2015 to the man of my DREAMS!! We live in the country on 9 acres and it is SO peaceful and serene and HILLY!!! I should surely be able to lose weight walking up and down these hills!!

I've gotten pretty good at losing the weight..... but am not good at KEEPING it off!

My ultimate goal is to get down somewhere below 150 lbs. I think that the last time I was 150 I was 23 years old and pregnant! Lol.

When I got a new fitbit a few years ago, my husband said that instead of all the bells and whistles, it just needed to SHOCK me if I don't get up off the couch and go walk or run! Lol!

Why I want to get in shape

I'm so tired of feeling sluggish and tired all the time! I need to buckle down and lose this extra weight, get back into shape, and feel good about myself again! I want to fit into nice clothes, to be comfortable in jeans and not have to wear sweats and big, baggy shirts all the time!

  • To look and feel BETTER in my 60's than I did in my 50"s!
  • to buy "cute" clothes again
