About Me
I joined MFP in Jan.09 for the soul purpose of eating better, kicking my sugar addiction and maybe dropping 12 or 13 pounds! To be honest I have lost some pounds, eat way less sugar and have gained sooo much from this sight by reading all that gets posted! I love journaling my food and exercise each day. The staying in touch with my fitness buddies and being able to welcome and encourage when one joins is really a hi-lite of my day! I am now "addicted" to my fitness pal instead of sugar!!! I am a 50 year young wife with 2 grown sons and 1 beautiful inquisitive grandson who keeps nanna on her toes! I have a VERY blessed life and I give thanks to God for that!!! I try to be a supportive pal and I do truly wish you all well in this journey we call life.
Why I Want To Get In Shape
I am not in bad shape because I have exercised all my life but it will be great to learn what everybody else is doing to get fit and I want to keep my heart healthy. Heart disease is the number one killer for women and I won't let myself be one of it's victoms!!!
