About Me
I am 24 married to a Marine and I have two beautiful little girls. One is 4 and one is 2. I never had any problems with weight when I was in high school it all started after I got married and started having children. I just kept adding on the pounds. I finally decided to lose the weight after I got up to 201 with my second daughter and while my husband was deployed. I did awesome and was so proud of myself. In December of 2007 I was down to 127 and then my husband came home and it all went down hill. I started making dinner every night and eating it. I stopped going to the gym and I just became very slack. So now 9 months later I'm back up to 158 and determined to lose weight this time and keep it off. I started on September 17th and so far have lost 5lbs but it is coming off very slow. Probably because I cheat on the weekends. That is definately my downfall. Hopefully this website will help keep me motivated, stay on track and keep it off once it comes off.
Why I Want To Get In Shape
I want to get in shape because it makes me feel good about myself. I am more confident how I look in clothes and how I see myself in the mirror. I like getting dressed in cute things I couldn't wear before and I enjoy going out. Plus I know this sounds kind of strange but I want to be the small mom. I want my kids to want me around and not be embarrased of me because of my weight. I want to show them a good role model as well that it's good to work out and eat right.
