Currently, every time you lose any weight from your previous weigh-in, you get an update here (and on facebook) that says, "maillemaker lost X pounds since his last weigh-in!".

But this is misleading, since I frequently lose and then gain the same weight multiple times. The updates make it look like I've lost 2 pounds many times, but in fact I've re-gained and re-lost the same two pounds.

This results in people writing to you saying, "Great job!" when if fact it's a terrible job.

I would like the "atta-boys" to be more meaningful victories.

It would be nice if rather than doing a comparison against the last weigh-in, if instead there were an option to make it do a comparison against your lowest recorded weight.

This way you only get an "atta-boy" update when you've actually lost weight. You wouldn't get them for gaining weight and then losing back to where you were.

Thanks,
Steve

There should also be a comparison to the person's goals. If they are trying to GAIN weight and fail at that then it is just as problematic.

I simply don't weigh in more than once per week. That way, if I see a weight loss, it's probably an accurate weight loss and should stay off? If it *doesn't* stay off, then I figure maybe I need to change things up a bit in my caloric goals or my exercise categories.

I would like an option so that no matter how often you weigh in, you don't get a reward message for covering ground you already covered before.
