The calorie intake goal should adjust as weight is lost. I'm down 18 and realized the goal hadn't adjusted. The work around is go into the weight/wk goal and "re-save" it to force an update to the calorie intake goal using your current weight.

fix whatever the glitch is that keeps deleting items and/or not syncing items from the mobile app to the web site. I add a food, save, and then when it sync's the food either gets deleted completely or does not sync to web site.

I'm sure you've heard this before, but I want to add one more vote to our numbers -- please give us an option for net carbs! I know it's only a little math, but it bothers me to see those big red negative numbers under my carb goals for the day when I'm only over because fiber gets lumped in with other carbs.

This... all of this.

There are so many user-entered foods, that it would be nice to have a radio button on the food search where you could choose to include or not include the user entered ones. I sometimes find them useful, but there are so many now. I'm sure MFP has something in there for a banana for example, but I have to sift through all the variations that users have set up. It's a little aggravating! Thanks for listening.

the duplication IS really tiresome.

MFP is set to prompt you automatically at 10 lb intervals (from the last time YOU made any change on your my home > settings > update diet / fitness profile page...) Users who are always tinkering with settings will never see it, IE get to 9 lbs lost... oh lets change my activity level... now you'd have to get to 19 lbs to trigger the automated prompt, get to 17 and change something again... now you need to get to 27 before the automated prompt.

the graph options on the mobile app should be replicated to the web site.
the web site should pop up the nutirion info for an item before you add it; in the same area as the # of servings.
when looking items up in the database, you should be able to add to food diary directly from database
food/exercise searches should always push stuff you've previously had/done to the top of the list.
allow me to select how many items show up on my favorites and recent lists

I would like MFP to add a sections of food storage (like the My Meals, or Recent, Frequent), called My Pantry. This would then be used by scnning in items you bring home from the store and being able to add to delete these items easily (as we buy more or finish off those items). It would allow for people to remember what food options they have at home, and since they are pre-scanned we don't have to worry about logging items with poor internet connection.

Place to put sugar counts next to meals like before & after meal. Been putting it in notes.

Also a pregnancy setting would be great. It keeps saying I over ate which I didn't cause I"m preggo.

Be able to change the amount of carbs, fiber etc it says you should eat. Having Gestational Diabetes I am only allowed 175 or less of Carbs a day. It says I can have 199.

I love that I can go online & print out everything for my doctor. When I print it leaves off the water though.

LOVE the app on phone! Would be lost with out it!

The App is great but I would like the feature to permanantly ignore or block some food results to enable quicker and more relevant searching.

To search for a foodstuff and be presented with a dozen user uploaded "Homemade" options that are only relevant to that one person is a waste of everyones time.

Perhaps allow the use of the "minus" sign to exclude results?

I would like to see a "family" type of feature that would allow me to share my recipes with my husband. So if I make dinner and put in a recipe for dinner, I want an easy way to say he had a few servings without having to put the entire recipe in for him. The lack of this feature/knowledge of this feature is what has stopped me from using this app so far.

Is it possible to search for food only within my logged food (not the entire database from all sources)? If not, that would be useful.

Bump, agreed

My home > goals > change goals > custom

change your carbs, fiber and all other nutrition items that MFP tracks.

While the printed report does omit the water 'cup' feature counter you could always directly log the water in your food diary "municipal water, tap water are a couple options that offer different serving options so you can also have your water tracked on the report you print for the Dr.

This is "sort of" available via iPad, iPhone, Android and for the website users....

you create the recipe, log a serving to your food diary that is shared with friends/ family

your friend / husband etc view YOUR diary from THEIR account and

apps (iPad, iPhone, Android) click the wrench / spanner in the header with the mealname > copy to today
website click quick tools > copy to today

what gets copied is the nutritional info of the portion you logged. They can adjust how much they had once it's in their own diary, and they can click quick tools > remember meal once it's in their own diary for future use of that recipe without you having to have it logged in your diary that day for them to find easily.

When I view someone else's diary on the android app there's always an extra zero at the end of the goal cals. Not a huge deal but kinda annoying.

I'm new to this program. When looking up foods, I'd like to see the calories listed. Sometimes I know the calorie amount of the food I've eaten, but have to go through several choices to find the correct one.

I like this app a lot, but it would be amazing if you could add a supplement/vitamin counter, and have more information about daily vitamin intake.

Update today has switched calories to kj's and seems to have deleted my weight/progress history??? I am sure there will be a fix coming soon. I would like to have a cumulative over 7 days option, so that if you have a blow out day it tells you how much you have to take off to even out overall for the week. I have been counting calories (not kj's, or fat) for around 25 years now and this is always the manual way I used. It works btw.

Some of us use the app to plan our meals for the day, Perhaps you may add in a checklist system in the dairy so we can put a tick on the food after we have consumed it. It will be very useful for sections for snacks or recess whereby there are many food items we will put under that area. This ensures we do not consume the same food twice due to forgetfulness or greediness.
And it will be great to know the amount of calories we burn from sleeping and resting.

I am glad you did a major update to the Android app. I was starting to think it was a neglected project, however a few things that need to change...

the screen with the list of "add to calendar", the row items are way too thin. They need to be much wider/thicker to press them like on other screens. Cosmetic tweak.

But most importantly, I don't know what you did to break this, but almost always for me now when I launch the app it is the blue splash screen with the spinning wheel and "Synchronizing Data..." for MINUTES if ever and there's no way to cancel it to just get into the app. The back arrow button just quits. It's so unbelievably irritating that it makes the app unusable the majority of the time now. It takes WAY too long to time out, but more importantly, it shouldn't even be doing that then! I don't care to synch my data when I launch the app!! Just let me launch it, and log my stuff (exercise, calories, weight, food, etc.) and get out and on with my life!! UGH! The timeout should be in like 10 seconds or something at most, and even then I'd say it's too long. Why not spawn that thread once the app is launched in the background to synch (and don't you DARE keep some service running to keep synched. My CPU is already taxed enough with other inconsiderate apps thinking I care about them so much they're allowed to run continuously. DELETE/KILL). I suspect most people either use the web OR they use the same mobile device daily -- I bet it's rare for people to bounce between them that much. I.e. if they're on the same device, then they already have the data synched locally as that is where they entered it to begin with.

Another grievance is that you STILL don't let me enter my weight AND body fat at the same time. I STILL have to switch modes -- so annoying for no point or benefit. *sigh*

It would be great if we could get to the forums on the app .

Track fiber intake please!

The recent update changed the font of the titles in the diary, and some characters that were previously supported (ă) are no longer displayed. I would appreciate it if the selected font supported more characters.

Fiber is a carb and you do get a small amount of calories from it, I would suggest factoring it in to your carb total but if you want that option that is okay.
