that'll fix 1)
2) you can't change off of calories, it's the only "Required" column but you can pick your 5 optional columns on the website
and then when your app next syncs the change SHOULD carry over to that.
3) is addressed by number 2.. make the changes on the website and the columns should carry over... well... unless the app only shows all the trackable nutrient items...

I like how the app lets me track food and so far it has a good database and is very easy to use.

I would like to see the Fitness part enhanced. While both the mobile app and website let me track my workouts, it feels like an afterthought, especially for an app named "My FITNESS Pal"

I would like to be able to create a plan for when I go to the gym- Run 30 min, bench press X weight, curls, etc.. then be able to check it off as I do it. Then be able to track my improvements in weight, time, etc..

When putting in a meal from My Meals in the app you cant put like .5 or something. I often log a whole pot of soup and know it is 4 cups so I want to put .25 like in the website, but cannot.

Also, would be nice to see the Community pages from the app.

There seems to have been a change to the IPad App that now requires that you tick box a food and then add it.

This seems to have added extra but unnecessary steps. I thought the calorie adding process was pretty much perfect before the change. I generally have to change the actual quantity eaten. Perhaps it is simpler if you eat products rather than prepare and cook food

Improvements I'd like to see.

1) I'd like to be able to COPY a meal from a previous day to a DIFFERENT MEAL on a DIFFERENT DAY. Right now, I can only copy a LUNCH to a LUNCH on a different day. I'd like to be able to copy a LUNCH to a DINNER or a BREAKFAST to a LUNCH. Actually, being able to copy a meal to a different meal on the same date would be good, too. On weekends, I frequently make a large portion of something for lunch, then eat it for dinner, too.

2) Ability to search food and it return the date you had it. I know the "history" shows you what you've recently had or frequently have, but it can't tell you how much/many/often/times/when you've had it.

I'm sure you've heard this before, but I want to add one more vote to our numbers -- please give us an option for net carbs! I know it's only a little math, but it bothers me to see those big red negative numbers under my carb goals for the day when I'm only over because fiber gets lumped in with other carbs.

I don't use the water tracking feature because the only measurement available is cups! Please add a metric option.

It's a picture of a glass with a number on it, use the number to reflect whatever measurement you want.

I user it to track liters (metric) so when I have my 2L a day I only need to tick it twice
a friend uses it to track refills of their hydration pack which I think is 60 ounces.
If you want to use it for a 20 ounce bottle of water...or a 500 mL bottle...

My biggest complaint about the app is the inability to get to the community pages. While I don't read many of the blogs, getting on the message boards or accessing the groups would be very, very nice.

Also, when quick adding calories, I would really like to be able to quick add any other info I know such as fat grams, carbs, and/or protein.

I think that 1. we should have a notification icon when someone responds to a post. I miss a lot of my replies due to the lack of a notification. and 2. We need more columns to check our nutrients. Before I went veg a few columns were fine but now I try and rely a good bit on this site for that and would love to be able to monitor more.

• definitely add a notification when some one replies to a thread on the community forum u have started or contributed to & be able to click on a link on your app that goes straight to the topic in our news feed.
• is there a way or could u add a way to change the week starting on the weekly summary on the home page on the app??? , cos I weigh myself on Saturday so my week starts on Saturday for the following week not Monday

I would love a suggested meal/snack feature especially for final meal of the day. Also for water consumption to have a daily goal and have more units other than just cups please. Ps. Love love love the app.

Why in progress can I only view my weight change for 3 months? That's weak, and misses out on the fun of seeing how far you've come over a long period of time. Should be option for at least a year, and better yet since you started using the program.

I would like to add a seperate area on my food diary for "supplements, vitamins and Rx".. It would be helpful to track and printout for my medical checkups....

I would love an exercise timer, basically something where you can select your activity and let the app calculate the time based on user start and stop inputs.

Could you please upgrade the Windows phone app? I used to have an Android with the app showing me what my friends were doing and also that I finished my food diary/exercise for the day. It would be great to see that!

A lot of the above suggestions are terrific. I would like to add one. I want to track my exercise, but, not add the calories. I wish there was an option to do this. As it is, I just don't record my exercise.

When you enter the exercise, you can edit the calories to 0.
