It would be nice if the food diary also tracked your number of fruit and vegatable servings consumed each day based on your diary entries. Does it currently do this and I am just missing something?

I third this! I have a whole seperate MyPlate app to keep track. I think recording the five good groups will help teach people on myfitnesspal about myplate and a balanced diet with all the food group.

I was hoping that My fitness Pal would let us track this too! They should!

Simple: change one of your snack servings to : fruit and vegetables - problem solved.
