Quick question. When you wear the fitbit on your bra, do you have the actual fitbit part on the outside facing the world or on the inside facing your body?

When I have mine on the outside you can tell I'm wearing something but I wasn't sure if having it on the inside would affect it.

Thanks
Aleks

I put it inside the cup. I also find I get a higher step count reading on those days.

Maybe your boobs are taking extra steps! laugh Just kidding, lol. OP, I wear mine facing inward so it's less obvious. I'm not sure if it makes a difference, accuracy-wise.

Thank you!

I'm going to wear it facing inward for now!

I mostly wear it on my pants pocket (I wear scrubs). Just recently facing in because I take the corners to quick and knock it! When I work out it gets very humid in me bosoms, so I'd rather let it breathe.

During the day, I wear mine in my cup(facing in) near where the cup and band meet. When I'm working out, I move it to the top of my bra near where the band meets it but I have it fancy out so it doesn't get as much sweat on it

I wear it facing out so I can see how I'm doing throughout the days. I've never seen it "showing through" my tops except for when I wear tighter, or thinner shirts and have the Fitbit on the strap, rather than in between the cups.

I wear it facing out, right in the middle. I wonder if there is any "best" way to wear it for accuracy?

I worry about the accuracy, too. I wore the Ultra on my bra for quite some time, but found I got higher step counts if it was clipped to my pocket. Now that I have the One, I wonder if it's different. I guess I should go to the gym, set the treadmill for a steady rate, and try it both places for 1/4 mile each or something. :)

I have an ultra and wear it facing out so I can check the stats. My understanding is One users sometimes find it is more secure and less visible facing in. (I don't have a One yet but look at some of the threads because I am sure I will one day unless something better comes out before my Ultra dies). I think the One is more resistant to sweat and some ultra wearers have trouble with sweat damaging their fitbit so I dare not wear mine facing in.

About accuracy. When I tested mine in both positions doing 100 forward or backward steps (about 50 of each) they were equally accurate. But I do find throughout the day I accumulate more steps when I wear it on my hip. I think it may be picking up more false steps i.e. riding in a car (sometimes not always). I notice some activities wearing it on my bra tends to miss steps, but it picks them up better when worn on the hip. I think hip/waistband placement is more sensitive to smaller weight shifts and impact--whether that is more or less accurate depends what I am doing.

That sounds way too much like work, plus you would think the FItbit peeps would have this figured out! Maybe they do and just won't tell? There's not too much detailed info regarding the device on their website - we seem to all have to figure this out with each other!

Sorry, Kimsied, I missed your post as I was composing this one. YOU should work for Fitbit - you're so knowledgeable!

I never thought about this, but I wear mine in the center, on the small spot between the cups, facing out. It is not visible at all.

I wear mine in the center between the cups, facing in. When I'm at home without a bra on, I keep it on my waistband. I haven't noticed much difference in the accuracy, but I want to test it for myself now, too!

I wear mine in the center of my bra, between the cups, facing outward. I killed my first FitBit with sweat, so I try not to have it touch my skin, if I can help it. LOL

I use the clip and just put it between the cups. I don't think you can tell I'm wearing it at all.

For exercise, I wear it on the strap of my sportsbra or I wear it in a little outside pocket on my workout tanktops. It probably isn't as accurate, but I override the numbers with my HRM anyway.

I wear mine facing in between the cups. I worry about losing it so I figure if its facing in at least I'll find it in my bra later.

being really big , plus sized even on top , i had a "feeling" it was counting steps wrong for me, not enough bounce, or hard to get it to sit vertical , really, so , i no longer wear it there, my step count is about 500 steps higher daily now than it was before, so my suspicion was correct, i suggest if wearing on bra, put it in the center "gap" so it stays upright. for accuracy, the most inaccurate day was when i had it on the bra strap..

I have to say... I only got my new One a couple of weeks ago, but it does not seem to be tracking well on my bra. I think I'm going to have to go back to clipping it on my pants. I've been running all over the library today, and I'm only at 2600 steps, and it's mid-afternoon already. Bother.

I wear mine inside the cup. But I try to move it to the outside when I work out. I have the Ultra and it does not like even a little bit of sweat..... Fortunately they do dry out EVENTUALLY

This is how I wear mine also and you can never see it through my shirts.
When I work out, I wear it clipped to the top of my sports bra.You can see it, but I am not worried about it.

I thought I lost my Fitbit yesterday! Didn't have pockets so decided to stick it in my bra front, right between the cups. I didn't attach it and just put it in there loose. When I went to change, I couldn't find it! I went into panic mode and was really stressing out about it. I later found it in my laundry basket - it must have slipped out when I was changing. Luckily, I didn't just shove a big batch of clothes in the washer without sorting through them or I would have washed it! Needless to say, I learned my lesson and will never just stick it in my bra loose again!

I always wear mine in my bra, in the middle facing in, but recently I have a new T-shirt bra that doesn't have much of a middle section so i hook it to the bottom inside of one of the cups,so its against the bottom of by breast & its been working perfectly but last night when I got undressed I I had a raised blistered area that was the exact outline of my FB. Has anyone else had this happen?

I am a center front facing in gal I wear playtex full coverage type bras. My dd who is younger and smaller wears hers on the cup closer to her under arm, we both have ones

I have an ultra, I wear it without the clip (which rubs) and on the side band of my bra close to the cup, facing out. I've worn it there for about the last 6 months and it seems to work fine.
