Hello,
I think it would be awesome if we could name our quickly added calories. I'm too lazy to often find things from the database, I just quick add the cals, and it would be great for my friends who look at the diary to see :)

I just joined and this is the only reason I'm considering finding a different site. The food database is great if you eat chain food or food with a barcode on it, but if you want to enter food from a local cafe or something you made on your own, it's a pain. I don't want to create a custom entry for a salad I'll eat only once.

I know this thread is a bit old but it would be a small change that would be really helpful. Hope this gets implemented :)
