Often I'm searching the database for a food and I may see foods like it, that might be it, in various quantities with different descriptions, and I choose one. But I have to add it to my diary and then GO to my diary to see how many calories it will show up as. Very often it's way off, so I have to search again. It's a pain!

Yes. I don't usually bleat about site functionality but this would be a major improvement. Better still would be if you could hover over a choice and get a brief summary of the cals/carbs/fat/protein and the units of measurement in a hoverbox.

Actually, there is a way around that. When you're searching for a food and the list comes up, you click on one item on that list and the box on the right is filled in with the name of the item and the serving description. Under the name of the item, there is a hyperlink that says nutritional information. Click on that and a pop-up will come up to show you the calories per serving.

I do this with things I don't normally eat. It helps to confirm that I have the correct listing to add to my diary. |

I would like it if "my food" had the calorie info . Sometimes I'm looking for something under 100 cals & it would be nice to see choices of foods I like then simply check & add.
