I was wondering if there is a way to create the serving size when making a recipe so that it is not simply how many people it will serve. Rather, I'd like it to be something like "1 cup".

Some users simply put the "size" in the name of the recipe IE Shepherds Pie - 1 cup

The recipe calculator can't really calculate the servings that your combination of ingredients will make that's why they leave it up to us to determine how many portions the recipe makes. Adding 1 cup of water and 1 cup of flour the system may think that should result in 2 cups. But instead it makes either a bit more than 1 cup or a bit less than 1 cup of the resulting paste / dough
