I think it would be beneficial if you could "Create Foods" using a combination of existing items from the database. For instance, instead of having to track down and compile the nutritional information for each ingredient in many cases I can find the individual ingredients already on the site. The data is already there. In many cases I have to resort to just picking something in the ballpark because it's too cumbersome to go through and create an entire new entry and if it's something I eat an a semi-regular basis I don't want to have to track down multiple ingredients each time.

You could find your combination that you eat sort of regularly once and then click quick tools under the meal, and "remember meal" give it a name such as
items

bread
eggs
syrup
butter
remember meal > french toast

now go to the my meals tab instead of most used / recent and pick the "french toast" to log that particular grouping of items when you eat them again. The advantage of this route is each ingredient is individually adjustable when you log it in your diary in the future if you eat more bread the next time or skip the butter. Entered as a recipe you can't adjust individual components easily.

You can do that, there's a recipe inputter, it's under food, and then go to recipes, and you can put a new one in, that way you don't have to guesstimate how much of each thing you had if you made it for more than 1 person, you put in the total ingredients, and how many people it was for, and then you save the recipe, and when you want to put it in your food diary you go to "my recipes" and then click add to diary. you have to input all the ingredients, amounts, and amount of servings in the recipe, but then it saves it and you can add it
