Help! Fitbit Aria Scale Weight is NOT syncing with mfp.

Body fat % does sync
Weight does Not sync

Per mfp staff posting on 12.30.12, we have been asked
to be patient.

It's been nearly 2 months...is mfp any closer to a solution?

Mine was syncing 2 days ago--today it says it synced, because the date was right, but the number is incorrect

Hello,

The only current issue with the Fitbit Aria scale is a rounding problem where some entries may be rounded differently on MyFitnessPal than Fitbit (241.1 instead of 241.2 for example). This rounding issue should be resolved soon, if your scale is not syncing at all please check the following

-Is the Scale syncing to Fitbit.com? If not the scale may not be connecting to your wifi and you should potentially re-setup the scale
-If the scale data is syncing to Fitbit.com but not to MyFitnessPal, have you tried disconnecting your integration between MyFitnessPal and Fitbit and reconnect? This usually remedies most integration issues (keep in mind that after you reset this connection only entries made after that point will sync unless your scale has not been able to connect to wifi in which case all buffered entries will come over once it gets online)

We are confident that aside from the rounding issue the scale is working with the Fitbit & MyFitnessPal service without issue.

Regards,

Tom

Last night I set up my new fitbit aria and linked it to MFP. Tried it this morning and found that it imported body fat figure but not weight. I am confident that this is not a manifestation of the "rounding issue." The body fat number indicates that wireless transmission is working. But the weight doesn't come across. What do you suggest?

wouldfish,

Is the weight showing up on your Fitbit weight measurement history?

I am also having problems with my aria syncing to MFP. It does show up on my Fitbit account and the aria shows it is syncing, but the numbers and dates are not changing in MFP. If I disconnect and reconnect the app, it picks up the newest info from fitbit?

My Aria weight from this morning has not updated on MFP yet. It has been working just fine for the last two months.

Hi,

Sorry for any issues. If your weight has still not transfered over can you please send me a PM with what the weight entry should be and what date you last successfully synced your weight with MyFitnessPal?

I look forward to hearing from you.

Cheers,
Scott
