TOPIC: Oat milk not looking so good after all...

Egads! I've just discovered that oat milk has more calories, more sugar, more fat and less protein than 2% milk! Ah HA, another way I've been sucking up sugars, while thinking I was doing better for avoiding milk. Using MFP has really helped me analyse how I eat and where I'm falling down. I was not eating any processed sugars but still maintaining a diet VERY high in sugars and carbs (the other sugar!).

I found that SF Jello is full of sodium, I never would have known that if it was not for MFP.

Go for almond milk, coconut milk or Hemp milk.

All 3 of these have a lot more nutritional qualities to them and not made from grains.

Holy Smokes, you're right! A fraction of the calories of milk or any of the grain-based fake milks... only 16 calories per 100 ml... no protein, but also no sugar. I'd rather get my protein and calories from something other than milk, so that's awesome! Thanks!
