TOPIC: Cross Trainer Entry on Excercises

Hi there - could you add the cross trainer to the list of exercises in the data base please. Will make it easier for those of us who love that piece of Gym equipment.

I have recently bought a cross trainer for home. You can create your own exercises in the same way that you can create your own recipes so that's what I have done, and then you just record how many minutes you used it for and how many calories you burned which the cross trainer should tell you anyway :-)

I believe elliptical (sp) is already on there. However, for me personally it's way off.

Get a HRM and add it yourself.

Walking for an hour gives me about 200 calories burnt. HRM would tell me it's more like 350.

MFP would give me 100 calories for 10 mins on the elliptical. HRM would give me about 60.

I wouldn't go by what's on here tbh - just use it as a rough guide. For more accuracy look in to getting a heart rate monitor or FitBit.
