There's a server error everytime I try. Any suggestions? Need to get this working... Thanks

Hello,

This sounds like a very unique issue, please try clearing your website cache and cookies and logging back in to be sure your browser is referencing up to date information. Here are some tips on clearing those items for the most popular browsers

We have verified that you should be able to adjust your blog preferences by testing your account so hopefully this helps.

Hi - I have tried clearing my cache and also have used different browsers/computers and I am still getting this error message. Is there any thing else that can be done?

Hi,

Sorry for any inconvenience. I tried to make a blog post from within your account and was able to successfully post. Do you mind letting us know the exact steps you are taking from the time you log in till you encounter the error?

Also, can you let me know if you are using the HTML portion of the blog or if you have copy and pasted your blog's text from a word processing program?

I look forward to hearing from you so we can resolve this.

Just to clarify - it's no making a blog post that is giving me the issue. The problem is the blog PREFERENCES as in changing the name of my blog, the description for my blog,in general.

Exact steps
- Log into my fitness pal via browser
- Click on My Blog
- Click Preferences (under tools on right hand side)
- Enter in new blog name, and description
- Click Save Changes
- Application Error

And this happens on any browser no matter how I try to change the settings or clear the history.

Please advise.. I'd like to start my blog :) Thank you!

Hi,

Thanks for the follow-up details. I followed you exact steps and was able to change the blog title. Can you let me know what name you were trying to use? Perhaps it is too long, or contains a non-alphanumeric character?

I think what happened was my title was too long, now that you mention it. I'm not sure what the character limit is but I made it a shorter title and now it works.
