I use a Fitbit as well as MFP. I've noticed recently that the Fitbit calorie adjustments are being tagged to the wrong days in MFP. Namely, on Friday I did over 5,000 steps (I'm a CFS/ME sufferer), but only 568 on Saturday (probably due to pain from Friday's efforts!). However, MFP is telling me that I burnt 0 calories on Friday, and an additional 229 on Saturday. I already have negative adjustment turned off, how do I change my days? I really need these tools to work for me while I can't exercise properly, and it's just confusing.

double-check that your timezone settings for both devices are accurate.
on MFP it's my home > settings > change timezone. on Fitbit I don't know.

I've done that, and they're both correct. Now I have a new issue - the fitbit is waaaay overestimating the calories burned that it sends to MFP. For example, today I did just over 5140 steps, and according to MFP, that's 853 calories. I seriously doubt that. This is getting really frustrating, I don't know how many I've actually burned, and what I'm supposed to eat!

HI,
On Feb 5 I show that your total calories burned from FItbit were 2712 and your MyFitnessPal calories burned as 1920. Giving you an Adjustment of 792. If this is incorrect do you mind letting me know the information recorded on Fitbit for this day and any day in question? The helpful info would be "Total Calories Burned" and "Steps". I look forward to hearing from you. Cheers, Scott MyFitnessPal Staff |

Hi Scott,
Since Kristy has not responded, I will. I'm having the same issue and my timezones are correct. I track bike rides through endomondo, which i have linked to MFP. I also have a fitbit (that i do not wear while riding, btw) and on days when I ride, the fitbit adjustment posts to the day afterward. Here is info from fitbit for yesterday (2/16/2013): Total Calories Burned: 2775 Steps: 4158 MFP Fitbit calorie adjustment: Yesterday: 0 Today: 1286

Hello,
From what we can see in the accounts referencing an issue in this topic, everything looks to be working as designed. It is very difficult to troubleshoot adjustment concerns in a forum from multiple users and it is impossible to troubleshoot concerns that are for the same day (since the adjustment is dynamic and changes by the minute). If you would like to continue troubleshooting/looking into this potential issue please use the contact us link below and restate the original issue based on a date other than the current one. Regards, Tom MyFitnessPal Staff |
