Is it possible to copy dinner into breakfast or lunch without searching for each food? Some of use like to have our leftovers for lunch the next day and I end up searching in order to log it. If the option is already there and I missed it, let me know. If not...can we look forward to this option smile

Faster than "re-searching" each food item would be to simply click "copy to today" under the quick tools for the dinner you're trying to copy. Then once it's in todays diary you can click on each line item of the meal and edit which meal it is found in, such as breakfast or lunch.

You can also change your display options so that your recent / most used lists can show your items from dinner last night while viewing your breakfast / lunch list today. If it's sorted by "ALL MEALS" as well as by "default (which is the last item logged is the first item in the list) your dinner items from last night should be near the top of the recent list... depends on if your dinner is your third slot or your 6th slot and how you do the logging.

You can change the "all meals / specific meal" display on all platforms. Website, and all the apps

Or possibly even easier, go to dinner last night click quick tools > click remember meal
name it / give it a date whatever will let you find it
and select the "my meals" column instead of most used / recent to log that in whatever slot you want it in.

Thanks I'll try that now. Before I "thought" it would only allow me to copy to dinner only. I'm going to also attempt to change my display.

It does only copy from the meal it's logged in to the same meal slot on the day you're copying to. But once it's on todays diary you can "edit" each ingredient of the meal so that it goes to the slot you want.

For the changing your list options

For the apps
It's an option on all the platforms
ie Windows Phone

iPad iPhone use the same one as Android

Blackberry

Website - food > food diary> pick a meal and click add food> on the "add food to (selected meal) page there is a search box and RIGHT below that search box it says "Or add favorites for (selected meal)" - DEFAULT behaviour
click that "selected meal" and pick the only other option which is ALL MEALS.
Now the items you've logged for meal 1 are available for meal 3. Can be easily changed every time you access the food diary depending how many items you want available to pick from

Worked like a charm. Thank you for all your help. I've obviously been doing it wrong.
