TOPIC: Meal TIMES; don't dump all snacks in one bucket

Would like to be able to record the TIMES I eat meals and snacks (so my dietician can see which foods I'm pairing together). Don't like lumping all snacks together; need a more accurate representation of what I ate when.

You can also split your food into 6 different meals on here... I have each of mine broke down into 2-3 hour time frames

In the setting you can change your meals to reflect up to 6 seperate meal times and name them as you'd like. I eat 5-6 small meals a day, so this is what I did. Then you can name them based on the time you ate, and keep track that way of what you ate together. :)

You can change the way your meals are broken up. I have mine broken down by time sections. Fiddle around with the settings or something like that.

There is room for 6 chunks of eating times. How about:

Breakfast
Morning snack
Lunch
Afternoon snack
Dinner
Evening snack

I changed the names of my meals. Wake up until 10:00, 10:30 until 2, 5pm til bed, everything in between.

Those are the categories I use, too - Breakfast, Morning Snack, Lunch, Afternoon Snack, Dinner and Evening Treat!

as mentioned, you can change it to times or time frames if youd like.. take a peek at my diary if youd like

That's what I did, too. Go under the "Food" tab, then click on "Settings".

Mine are:

Breakfast 6-10 am
Snack 10 am - noon
Lunch noon - 2pm
Snack 2-4 pm
Supper 4-7 pm
Snack 7-10 pm

Evening Snacks
Stuff I didn't work out enough for

(I rarely use the last one, but when I go over I know why. Sometimes just having to log calories in that section is enough to change my mind about having it.)

If you have already posted food entries, you need to keep them in the order they are in. I tried to change mine to breakfast, lunch, snack, dinner etc. But when I changed the 3rd box it changed all my previous date's dinners to reflect as snacks. So I adjusted it to now be:
Breakfast
Lunch
Dinner
Afternoon snack
Evening snack
Alcohol

Unfortunately it's that last one that keeps sabotaging my efforts every weekend! That's why I've decided to start tracking it separately.

Can someone please tell me how to change the food site to 6 different timed sections instead of the default breakfast lunch dinner. thank you

I was able to change mine to

Breakfast - 9:45
Snack AM
Lunch - 12:00
Snack Midday
Dinner 6:00-8:00
Alcohol / Desserts

I have my slots listed as follows. I don't even bother labeling them as breakfast, lunch, snacks etc. I just label them with the time frame that I eat them.

6am-9am
9am-11am
11am-1pm
1pm-6pm
6p-9pm
9pm-12am

Adding times in the notes is OK, but I would like to see snacks broken down so we can do morning, afternoon, and evening separately.

you can customize your meals however you want to in your diary settings.

click on that.

change meal names.
