It is very time consuming to add multiply meals & recipes to your partners diary. Spouses/families/partners ect, should be able to link and use each others data.

i was going to suggest this. this is a good idea.

for example : i make my wife's lunch/dinner it would be nice to put all the ingredients on as i make it and send her the value to her account to add to her lunch/dinner.

You can't copy recipes between family members but presumably it's because you're all sitting down to the same meal and would like to make it easy to log.

It works exactly the reverse of the 3rd poster... they choose to come to your diary and copy FROM your diary, you don't get to push it TO them

iPad, iPhone, Android app users have been able to since June 2012 (iOS was earlier) and since November 14th 2012 users of the website can copy FROM any diary they are able to view.

So enter a recipe once on one account and log a serving of the recipe to your food diary. Or log a meal if you're not wanting a full recipe. Whatever, point is that you log it in your food diary.

They come and view your diary (make sure via food > settings that your diary is viewable by at least friends and your family are friends within MFP) and
apps mentioned above - click the wrench / spanner in the header with the meal name and click copy to today
website - click quick tools > copy to today

they now have the same meal statistics / nutritional info in their diary that you have in yours.
