I have noticed that in the database for jogging, That you start at a 5.5 min/mile pace and go up by .5 until you reach10 min/miles. Then there is a big jump to 11.5 min/mile and 12 min/mile.

I would really like to see a 10.5 and an 11 minute mile added to the database. It's a big jump from 10's to 11:30's.

Thanks
Mike

Bump. Just wondering if this is the right place to send requests.

It's the right place. the site owners check out this category and do what they can. Not quickly, but it's not a large team from what I hear.

I actually came up against a similar challenge. This morning, I averaged 5.5 miles per hour (2 miles in 22 minutes) for my overall run. But when I typed in "5.5", the running / jogging activities that came up were scattered, with results being 10.9 mph, 5.2mph, 5 mph, 7 mph, 7.5 mph, 8 mph, and 9 mph. Because, if I'm going to err, I prefer to underestimate what calories I burned, I selected "5.2 mph" and simply annotated my actual speed in the notes section.

One thing I thought was if they might be able to put some kind of calculator in the system, where you can select walking / jogging / running and then input enough data for it to figure out how fast you went (known time and known distance) and calculate calories based on that. Then it wouldn't be necessary to find however fast you ran already in the database.
