I am just wondering do you get credit for working out with weights ???
i logged the exercises w reps & weight but no calories burned are listed--- am I doing something wrong sad

You can log it as Strength training and calories burned will show up. Same as Weight lifting.

Also I log it in under the cardiovascular category

If you want a calorie burn from that go
exercise >CARDIO > add exercise > search "strength training"

use the
exercise > strength > add exercise to track your progress over time with weight / sets / reps
