Survey completed.
I see Runtastic already have their toe in the door. Don't want to use Runtastic though. Surely it cant be that hard for RunKeeper to do the same here - the two apps work in a very similar way? I guess we're just waiting on our people to talk with their people and come to agreements?! |

What's the hold up?
Run keeper has an API. It should take a matter of hours to get past oAuth, map functionality to runkeeper API functions, and test. Perhaps if MFP would actually provide an developer API for its users to use we could even do the hard work for you. Dale

I acknowledge that MFP is a wonderful FREE service so I don't feel entitled to any new functionality... but I'd really, really love it and appreciate it!
I am a huge Runkeeper fan... I've tried runtastic but don't like it nearly as much. So... if Runkeeper integration can happen, please make it so. Side note: Thanks very much for all of your hard work. I used this site years ago to lose weight, then stopped visiting (and gained back everything and more...). It is an excellent tool with a great community. Thanks!

QUOTE: Hi Folks, A request was made that I respond to this thread, and I'm happy to do so, to the extent that I'm able. We definitely plan on adding more integration partners to our program in the future. At this time, we can not say who those partners will be, but we are very interested in integrating with RunKeeper and our teams are in contact with each other. I've made our business development team aware of this thread, though they're already well apprised of the demand for this integration. We recommend that you contact RunKeeper as well (the survey link above seems like the best route) and let them know you would be interested in having them integrate with us. Please know we're extremely aware of our users' interest in RunKeeper integration. Regards, Steven MyFitnessPal Staff Thankyou!

I took the survey, this would be a nice feature add for my personal use. As it is, I manually enter an exercise in MFP based on cals burned on Runkeeper, so it is maybe a few minutes a day, not the biggest pain ever. But it would be nice to have the apps talk to each other.

Any updates on this? It's pretty obvious that A LOT of people really want this. Why isn't it happening? I'm willing to pay for it....
