Many, MANY MFP users are also RunKeeper users, and there has been a clamoring for integration between the two whereby RunKeeper automatically feeds activity data into the MFP Exercise Diary and other integration requests.

These requests have resulted in a number of isolated threads requesting this integration, so I undertook to compile as many as I could find here (Note: This is JUST OVER THE LAST YEAR):

Note that based purely on post count, this amounts to over 500 requests for this feature IN ONLY THE LAST YEAR, and yet I did not find any official response or "word" from MFP concerning the status.

I would request 4 things:

1. Some sort of acknowledgement/status from MFP concerning this issue.

2. That this thread be made a "sticky".

3. That future requests for this feature be made in this thread so that it's easier to measure the demand (power in numbers).

4. That EVERYONE fill out this survey (the formal request process on RunKeeper to request this feature):

Hi Folks,

A request was made that I respond to this thread, and I'm happy to do so, to the extent that I'm able.

We definitely plan on adding more integration partners to our program in the future. At this time, we can not say who those partners will be, but we are very interested in integrating with RunKeeper and our teams are in contact with each other. I've made our business development team aware of this thread, though they're already well apprised of the demand for this integration.

We recommend that you contact RunKeeper as well (the survey link above seems like the best route) and let them know you would be interested in having them integrate with us. Please know we're extremely aware of our users' interest in RunKeeper integration.

Survey taken. Thanks to MFP for running with this ... pardon the pun!

However I would urge one thing, that I learnt many years ago:

"It's better to keep people informed of what's going on, and they are more accepting of delays, than when kept in the dark".

Thanks :)

Took survey, hope to see this soon. I've been using runkeeper for a long time and I think mfp and runkeeper would complement each other quite well. Thanks
