I think it would be a great idea to be able to adjust the amount of a particular ingredient used in a recipe that I have already created. At the moment to do that I have to search for the same ingredient, add the right amount, and then delete the original amount.
It would be much simpler if it would be possible to click on the ingredient in the recipe and a box would appear to adjust the amount used for that ingredient, just like what happens in the food diary. As I haven't saved any meals ever I will use that feature to see if that will work. |

If you have access to one of the mobile apps you may find you can edit your recipe ingredient quantities using that. Hopefully it'll be brought to the website since the "function" already exists in the food diary to change quantities recorded.

Also would really like to see this. My wife and I frequently need to make minor changes to a recipe and find it very annoying to have to remove and re-add the ingredient.

Agreed.
EDIT: While we are on the topic of recipes (not trying to hijack), I would also love as "Save as..." feature for recipes. If I am making lasagna with ground beef this week instead of ground turkey, it would be helpful to open the ground turkey lasagna recipe, change the meat, and save as a different recipe. Currently all I can do (to my knowledge) is create a new recipe from scratch, or overwrite a current recipe.

Agreed too!
And is it just me, or is it not possible to enter a recipe from your iPhone? If it is possible, I cannot seem to figure it out....

Count me in on this one, the APP is nice, but I'd rather adjust on my laptop! Sooner the better!!

Totally!!! This would be such a useful additional feature for those of us who routinely reuse recipes with ingredients with changes in values - e.g. actual weight of vegetables or meat used.

AGREED!!! This is one of the things I wish for most on this website!!! I know the functionality exists because you can do it from the regular food diary page, but being able to change quantities from the recipe tab would make life IMMENSELY easier. Not needing to delete a food item from a recipe, just so that I can look it up again and enter a different quantity would make cooking dinner faster. Please, please, PLEASE take this request into serious consideration! Thank you!
