Can someone please step me through how to log time spent travelling in a car? I commute as a passenger, a reasonable distance, and Fitbit is adding steps.

Currently I press and hold the activity button, and later go and log this as time as a passenger (on the FB site). But it is not taking the steps away, nor adjusting the calories.

Am I missing something?

Thanks in advance!

Hello,

I have done some research on this based on your question and the most common solution seems to be labeling the activity "driving", which should remove the steps and only count slightly higher than your BMR during that timeframe. This may be a better question for Fitbit support since that is the best answer I could find.

We wish we could be of more help,

Tom
