I remember my first mile and how difficult it was to get through it noway . Keep it up and you will surprise yourself with the progress that you make!!

WOO HOO! Congrats all!! I am sliding in at almost the 11th hour with +.5 miles! LOl So proud of everyone in this group - every mile a victory!! We are doing it again in Feb - RIGHT?? I will get the thread started tomorrow at the latest.

A bit more than a year ago I was a smokin and most of the time I was feelingsick . My mood was grumble and sometimessad and I was always yawn
Since then I quit smokin and started working out drinker and now I'm always likebigsmile bigsmile bigsmile

This is the 30th of January, and I have done 1 mile every day! 30 miles so far!!! woo hoo!!! I think this is great, especially for a formerly sedentary, overweight woman who turned 50 this month!!

I am using walk away the pounds for abs, and I cannot believe that I have done this. I have one more mile to do for the month, and I will have met my goal (31 miles).

I plan to up my miles for February, and also add some strength training as well. Any suggestions for other leslie dvds and strength training sources (dvds, youtube, etc)? My schedule is such that going to classes during the week is really not an option currently, so I am sticking with dvds for now.

Thanks all. You guys are inspiring. I really appreciate each and every one of you, and I am glad to be part of this challenge.
