I would love if MFPal could integrate with Garmin Connect (connect.garmin.com). My guess is that many MFPal users have Garmin devices to track workouts, and importing the calorie expenditures directly from Garmin would be a great feature.
Thanks! |

Hi
I agree that this would be great. There has been a post on this previously but still nothing :-( I was using Endomondo. I was importing my workouts into Endomondo, after Garmin and then linked Endomondo to MFP. Unfortunately though there seems to be an issue with this at the moment and they don't seem to be connecting.

Agree completely! I have a Garmin and was very disappointed that this site doesn't link to that (especially considering all of the other linked site options).

I've seen several threads request this, and I'm determined to contribute a vote to each one.

Agree. Either integration with Garmin Connect or Strava to automatically and more accurately track calories burned on bike rides (cycling) and spin classes.

Another +1 from me. I use FItbit for my Scales, but Garmin for everything else - cycling, running and swimming. It would be fantastically useful if MFP could pick up exercises from Garmin Connect.

Great idea. Even connecting with MapMyFitness would be great. I sync with HumanaFit/MapMyRide and it would be nice if it would bring the data here.

I just discovered that you can import from your garmin device to endomondo, then link it here. I plan to try it on my next ride.
Here's the link: https://getsatisfaction.com/endomondo/topics/j69zjtd372bx1?utm_medium=widget&utm_source=widget_endomondo

I just had a dig through Garmin's developer side, and it seems like Garmin are the ones being a bit slow here;
http://developer.garmin.com/web-products/web-services/ <-- This is the Garmin developer details, and if you notice it says 'Coming Soon'. So we should also maybe coax Garmin into allowing third parties to be able to federate their data and enable it to be used in other tools, such as MFP. Rather frustrating seeing as Garmin do tend to be a bit slow in responding to what their customers want. |

I'd love to connect the two, as I use Garmin Connect too.
