TOPIC: MFP link to Accupedo?

December 14, 2012 10:07 AM
Sorry if this is a duplicate, but I wanted to suggest a link with the accupedo app. I'm not sure about Apple, but its the most downloaded pedometer app on the android market. I would love to be able to more accurately keep track of my TDEE, and this would help me at least. Thanks for the consideration.

Me too! I'm a long-time Android user and Accupedo is the best available as it runs around the clock, rather than during specific activities requiring you to start/stop the counter.

However, I think that the question should be asked of Accupedo, not MFP. MFP provide a method that Accupedo could use to post so it's down to the developers of Accupedo to do the integration work.

Okay, so I emailed Accupedo yesterday and got a reply almost instantly. Apparently they have applied several times for access to the API which is what's required to sync with MFP, but have so far received no response. Their suggestion was for those of us who would like integration to contact MFP directly.

So whats the response MFP?

There are a number of positive comments here - has the API been passed to Accupedo? If not why not?

Accupedo has been dowloaded by over 4,000 users on Google Play. Having both apps on the one phone makes more sense then having to purchase another device to strap on as with all the other integrated apps suggested by MFP.

MFP is a great app but integration with Accupedo would be the utlimate - a response would be appreciated.

I would also love to be able to sync with Accupedo. I have a Fitbit and would love to stop carrying it - I have too much stuff in my pockets.

If this has really been buried as previous posts suggest, it's probably a money/power issue and isn't going to be resolved. It might be a case where the people who pay for/profit from MFP would suffer a financial setback as a result of better functionality, so it isn't allowed.

I see the last post to this topic has been back in June so I want to get it started again. What about it iMFP, can you link to Accupedo for those users who would love you for it?

Accupedo can now connect to MFP (in theory)

In theory is right... it does not appear in the myfitnesspal app gallery however it does have the option to link the two apps from within accupedo and has the link in the myfitnesspal app as well. i perfomred the link yet can not get results from accupedo to transfer to myfitnesspal. anyone else having this issue?

Edit: I missed the negative adjustments. that fixed it.

I just started using Accupedo after my Withings Pulse took a trip through the washing machine. I linked it to MFP and it does a calories burned update every half-hour. It has worked flawlessly for two weeks that I've used it.

I'm using Accupedo version 4.1.9 (May 20, 2014), running on an HTC One (M7) with Android 4.4.2.
