I agree, but I use Map my Walk vs. Map my Run, so please consider other "Map my" products also.

My vote to please add the Map My products!!!

To run all over a dead horse, I'd love this. The more accurate calorie count, as well as no need to add in a new aerobic activity every time I run (with slightly different paces.. 8:26 pace, 11:23 pace, etc.)

Yes, please sync !! I need to calculate the elevation change & additional calories burned.

btw~ do you runners & walkers know that it burns more calores going down hill, than it does on the flats ?

Pleaseeeeeeee link it!!!! I love mapmyrun and hate having to log the workout on here. As GardeningZombie says, its a pain logging for different paces

PLEASE. I just started truly using it, but I love Map My Run. I'd love to be able to just send info from one app to the other.
Clearly if there's anything you can do to please your customers (and, I would be willing to bet, new customers that aren't currently using you), it would be to make it possible for them to use their favorite apps together. We've been begging for over a year and we would love to hear of some progress.

Well its a year now and people are still asking without any progress or success I tried to sync with your first app but the claorie burn was so elevated to be worthless so I still do it manually
Thanks guys 1 year and counting

Another +1 for syncing them.

MFP is the best for overall weight loss and maintenance, but not syncing with map my run is a major disappointment. For hiking, biking or going for a walk map my fitness is is my favorite tool it's accurate and even accounts for elevation gain. My wife and and I have both lost close to one hundred pounds and are into our 7th month of maintenance. We use both apps faithfully, but it would be so much better if they could work together. I want to thank the people who bring us both of these wonderful resources and explore them to make it happen for us. Please.

I scanned all comments, apologies if someone already said this...

RunKeeper syncs with MFP and I love it!

I've been using MapMyRun for over a year now and love it! Just started MFP, and disappointed to two don't sync :(

Another vote for importing data from MapMyWalk and other MapMy products.

I use an app called "Runkeeper" that syncs to MFP automatically. It also has options for things other than just running, like cycling and skiing.

It'd be awesome the have MMR and MFP linking. I use MMR every time I exercise and only getting back into MFP to refocus. Integration would give me a way better picture of where I'm at!

I use RunKeeper, which is synced and which works pretty well.
December 8, 2013 1:41 AM
I can't switch to runkeeper.... I just can'tbrokenheart
I have a great relationship with mapmyrun and I can't throw years of gps away.......I mean we've been through a lot; starting out, injuries, races, rides, ups and downs.........Ohhh the times we've sharedlove
December 8, 2013 1:53 AM
Bumping so that when I get a new phone I can remember to check out the map my run app.

My runkeeper activity doesn't show up in MFP. Only my MFP activity shows up in runkeeper. So I still am manually putting in my activity from runkeeper. Anyone else have this problem?
December 8, 2013 2:11 AM
ahhh the beauty of mapmyrun is that when gps fails or you don't take your phone with you, you can manually map it!
This I did for a year or so before I got a more modern phone, so head over to the website hun x
