TOPIC: Tracking B vitamin intake |

It would be nice to be able to do this. I'm tracking my iron intake due to a longstanding problem with anaemia and B vits work to help you absorb iron (as well as vit C) so I'd love to be able to make sure I'm getting enough.

I did not know that B helps absorb iron!!! I have had problems with anemia too and last year when I had my physical, my D was very low. Doctor put my on 10,000 units once a week for 3 months then told me to take OTC vitamin D, 2000 units a day. I have not been anemic since! I am going back to the doctor next week to see if I can come off some of my meds now that I have lost weight! Yay me!!

Yes, they both help produce red blood cells. Vit b12 deficiency has very similar symptoms to iron deficiency so if it's not one it's probably the other. I'm glad you're feeling better.
