Im new to the winter running world, and was wondering if there is anyone that has tried yaktrax pro for snowy or icy roads and sidewalks? Do they actually work ? Do they mess up your stride? Can you tell you have them on? I dont have a treadmill at home so to actually keep my progress up on running ... Im going to have to run out side. Any input would be great!! Thanks!!

They're pretty great for icy conditions, still up to you to adjust your pace to allow the proper footing etc.
It's just like driving "4x4" doesn't make you invincible to the road conditions. Reminds me that I should dig them out, but I don't run with them on. Just use them to stabilize my walking while I shovel the sidewalk or around the jobsite.
