Hopefully this will make as much sense outside my head as it does inside my head
Right now, one can comment on one's own food and/or exercise diary, or make comments on one's profile page. But all of those are public unless you make your pages private, so if you want an open diary and open profile page, you can't have a private area to track things. The other problem is, if you use the notes area of the diary, you have to either know what date you logged something or go back through all the days.
What I would like to see is a place where I could, for example, track the various things in a chronological fashion that --- just like the profile page -stays until I change it. But it's private without making public pages private as well.
For example:
(date) Started walking program, slow 1/2 mile
(date) Adjusted (x) macro to (x) level/percentage
(date) Attempted (trendy workout video) 1st time, lasted 5 min
(date) Added (vitamin/mineral) for daily use
(date) Eliminated (whatever evil thing) from diet
(date) Walking, now doing 3 miles in time it took for 1st mile
(date) Started lifting - (x) pounds (x) times
(date) Day (x) of (trendy workout video) up to 15 min!
(date) Increased (x) macro to (x) and decreased (x) macro to (x)
(date) Switched (whatever) from AM to PM - works so much (better/worse) now!
So there would be a chronological, visual, interconnected list of the various things so that (1) I can see at a glance what I've tried, in what combination, and what works/doesn't (2)gives me a truer picture than my memory (3) eliminates the need for me to ask myself "did I add (x) before or after I started (y)? (4) Helps with motivation: i.e - ok, so maybe I'm not on level 3 yet but look, it was only (x) days/weeks ago that I could only do 5 min!
I know I could do this on my profile page, but this is something that I would like to be private without having to make my profile private.
Thanks

my home > my blog and on the right is "add post" but you may want to check the preferences right below that first.
make sure you have it set to private and track whatever comments you want. Just remember that you're using it that way if you ever decide to make your blog public or viewable by friends etc.
