Considering how much stress is put on, "Don't worry about your weight. Keep taking measurements," I think it would be really nice and encouraging if the news feed updated whenever someone lost inches too. That way, we could cheer for our friends when they lose inches, not just weight.
This would also be nice for those who've reached their goal weight but are now trying to tone up and lose more inches off their trouble areas.
It could read like the weight update:
"EnchantedEvening has lost 2.6 inches since her last check-in! EnchantedEvening has lost 64.4 inches so far."
Or something like that.

They would have to change the system a fair bit as all my "measurements" aren't inches. I track blood pressure via 3 entries, blood sugar on a lark via its own line, and a couple others I think that I haven't looked at lately. So we'd need to be able to select which ones to include, and should it post as soon as you enter a measurement or wait until you are done taking the 10 readings? Also they'll need to have the option to NOT update the newsfeed with the inches just like you can choose to display weight loss or not or your days logged in.

is there a spot that you can put your measurements ? I'm new, and I like to go by my inches rather than weight.

my home > check in
weight happens to be the default value selected there but it's a drop down list of some "pre-set" measurements... at the bottom of that my home > check in page there's a spot where you can click "track additional measurements" if the pre-set ones like chest, waiste, arm and leg aren't enough you can add anything you care to measure there, such as blood sugar, heart rate etc.
