After a few weeks I decided I no longer want my Withings scale to automatically sync with MFP. So, I went to apps and deleted it thinking that would be the end of it. I simply way myself too often and find it more useful to only update MFP once a week.

But, even after deleting the scale from the apps tab my weight is still automatically synced every time I use the scale. Can I stop this?

login to your withings account and unlink the two.

Hi,

Go to this page on MyFitnessPal to view and unlink your existing apps: http://www.myfitnesspal.com/apps/list

Removing the app doesn't stop the data from transferring. I did that and stood on the scale with a handweight and sure enough MFP thinks I gained 5 pounds.

Sure enough, when I deleted the data from Withings site I lost it again.

Hi,

Thanks for the additional information. It is very strange that you are still seeing a Withings weight entry as I show you completely disconnect from Withings.

You do have a Fitbit connect, I am assuming you are not using the Aria, is this correct?

Also, on your Withings dashboard, if you disconnect from your scale and re-connect, does it still show you as linked to MyFitnessPal?

I look forward to hearing from you so we can resolve this ASAP.

Cheers,

Hello,

To add to Scott's recommendation I have a screen shot of where you should be able to remove MyFitnessPal from your Withings account.

Log into your Withings account and click partner services. There you should be able to see a button that says "Partner services with which I share my data". Click on that button and you should see a MyFitnessPal icon. If you hover you mouse over it you will see an "x". Click the "x" to delete your MyFitnessPal account from Withings.

Hope this helps,

Thanks. That should do it. Love how helpful the site is in addition to the functionality.

Actually I'm still connected. My apps here don't show me as connected to Withings and my apps there don't show me as connected to MFP. But,my data still gets transfered. Just without the tag about it coming from withings.

I solved the problem by creating a new user on Withings and deleting my previous one.

I'm having exactly the opposite problem. I want my data to transfer from Withings to MFP.... No luck. Any help here?

on MFP

apps > app gallery
look through the list for "The Withings Wi-Fi Scale - By Withings "

click that... it loads the "more info on Withings Scale" page... there is a big green "How to Buy" button on the top right (the typical "take an action within MFP button" and RIGHT below that button is a link "connect accounts"

click that and follow the onscreen instructions

Thanks for the reply. I should have been more clear. I have linked the accounts. But my data is not being shared. Any other thoughts?
