Filled in the survey, and adding my name to this list.

I really would like to be able to keep everything in one place, to help create a greater picture of my fitness progress :)

A bit of a lateral solution to integrating MFP with RK is through a common middleman. Until I started searching for some RunKeeper vs. Runtastic reviews, I didn't realise that there was an issue syncing RK with MFP because I've alway had it, but arse about.

I actually got a Fitbit Ultra to remind me exactly how idle a day at work is, and Fitbit connects to RK quite happily and they sync weight + calories consumed from Fitbit to RK. In fact all the syncing seems to be out of Fitbit and into RK, but not back (which is fine for the way I use it, and I don't need any contention issues to deal with either).

Anyway, Fitbit is crap for tracking food, especially here in Australia. What little they do have in their database is all American, and some parts of the world use metric quantities as well. So I found MFP to basically do a far better job of tracking food. The food database and barcode scanning on the mobile app is just brilliant.

Anyway, FB have free accounts as far as I know. Nothing says you have to have a tracker... so I'm wondering if creating that and syncing MFP food consumption with FB, and then let FB push that data to RK would work.

Basically I use:
MFP to track food.
FB to track daily activity and record weigth periodically (which syncs back to MFP) and sleep.
RK to track exercise activity, but it gets fed weight, food and sleep details from FB.

The only thing I have to add double entry are things such as bike rides from RK, need to create a manual activity in FB if I want FB to accurately tell me what I can and can't eat more. That extra activity in FB does go back to MFP and increase the allowances for the day.

It's not perfect, but RK reports do indicate calorie consumption vs. exerted and all those things, which I figure is half of the aim.

Adding my voice to this chorus -- I definitely want RK and myfitnesspal APIs to talk to each other.

Ditto, a thousand times! I just completed the RunKeeper survey. I switched to Endomondo for the integration, but I MUCH prefer RunKeeper. Posting in this thread is OK, but tell RunKeeper how you feel via that survey!

Im up for this too. Runkeeper is a great App and it makes little sense why they aren't a partner.

Another vote for Runkeeper. My Fitness pal was suggested by a friend because of the ease of the food tracking interface. I just joined today. I've connected to my Fitbit which I think is connected to my Runkeeper but I would love to have this site/app connected to Runkeeper too. I have been a Runkeeper user for a couple of years and when I remember to actually walk or run I love it.

Please add it!

I've tried a handful of fitness apps and RunKeeper is my favorite so far. I try the new ones suggested my MFP but continue to come back to RunKeeper.

Totally agree. Trying to consolidate the Runkeeper request into this thread:

There's been some feedback from MFP there as well. Please post there and take the survey. Thanks!
