Is this ever going to happen?

The last semi-official mention of it that I've seen on the Jefit forums can be found here:

http://www.jefit.com/forum/showthread.php?37061-Myfitnesspal-sync

On the plus side, it went from a pretty solid, "No" to the possibility of a, "Maybe we'll look at it (but not until sometime in 2014)."

I'm hopeful, but not holding my breath. :)

Jefit +1
February 22, 2014 6:02 AM
I'll add my +1 as well
February 27, 2014 7:25 AM
Yep :) That's a +1 from me too!

I don't think JEFIT should see MFP as a competitor as they do very different things. They would complement each other beautifully if the area where they overlap (calories burnt/cardio) could by synced, rather than needing double entry.

Add jefit please

JeFit integration would be great.

Bump...

Agreed, would love to see JeFit integration.

This is very true!

Please get on it MFP!

Add my vote to this as well. JeFit integration would be nice.

I'd like the integration as well, but I really want a tool for tracking resistance training exercise... and Endomondo ain't it. ;-)

There's pretty much zero functionality for tracking anything but heart rate in Endomondo (or similar tools like RunKeeper, Runtastic, and MapMyRun). No sets, no reps, no rest timers, no improvement benchmarks = no good for lifting.

With that said, I do sync my resistance training HRM data into other sites... I've tried Endomondo & currently tinkering with RunKeeper, which I have tied to Fitbit/MFP via SyncMetrics.com).

If Endo & the others would provide better support for non-run/walk activities & improve even treadmill tracking, I'd be much happier. :)

Amen to that. Nothing compares to JeFit when it comes to tracking weight/resistance training. I'm guessing it's much trickier to estimate calorie burn for the weight training activities, and that may be where it gets tough to integrate. Most of the other apps tend to focus on activities where calorie burn estimation is more straightforward.

I also vote for JeFit integration with MFP. In the mean time I use JEFIT, MFP, Fitbit, Fit Wiz, and DriveBit Apps.

Yeah, that's definitely true re: calorie estimation. There are models out there that can be applied (Compendium of Physical Activity for example), although recent studies suggest* that calorie burn for resistance training may be higher than we've been thinking.

I'd like to see integration of weight data as well. although Fitbit <-> Jefit would work for that in my particular case (and i'm sure Withings would be nice for some folks).

* Recent studies are always suggest something. I just love that phrase -- makes me sound like a commercial. :-)

±1 definitely integrate, or rebuild their entire app's features... I bet integration is easier, but I'll leave that decision up to MFP. :-p

Bump - another vote for Jefit integration...plz!
April 24, 2014 6:59 AM
+1!!! Jefit is the best for weights. Also it's where I track weight, body fat and progress pics. Anybody knows why MFP does not have a mobile progress pic feature?

So far, MFP+Endomondo is the best! Love that integration so much!

Jefit is brilliant and if you look at the stats it pull up in the workout summary in addition to logging the weights lifted (EG workout time, wasted time etc), and having all your body stats (esp. bodyfat %), it would make the calorie estimate from workouts much more accurate. I know diet is the easier thing to track and control, but linking MFP and JEFIT would be fantastic.
I'd even pay for the integration which may encourage both JEFIT and MFP to join forces if they both got a cut from any payment made. Maybe they could do a bit of market research - or we could do it for them if I started a thread on both MFP and JEFIT forums..?

+1 for jefit integration, been using both these apps for years, its about time they talked to each other.
June 23, 2014 12:30 PM
Please integrate it with jefit!
July 1, 2014 8:01 AM
Well... any news about integration with JEFIT? Really, it's one of the best and most used apps for strength training and integrating it would be nice. You integrated lots of other useful apps, why not integrate a good one with hundreds of thousands of users?

My guess is that the ball's in Jefit's court as much as anything... Not much response from them when their users have asked for integration: http://www.jefit.com/forum/showthread.php?37061-Myfitnesspal-sync/page3
