I would love this. I have used run keeper for about 14 months now, religiously. I JUST downloaded runtastic as its the only free GPS tracking app that works with myfitnesspal atm. I haven't tried it. But the first hing I see is spam junk right on the main page and the music play doesn't work. What a joke. I can play music by simply double tapping the home button. Just weak. But of course I can pay $5 bucks for the Premium service..>.> RunKeeper is way better! Best part is its free. Like myfitnesspal. Of all people, myfitnesspal should recognize this and promote it. Its sad. Maybe it's politics. Does the my fitness pal team have something against runkeeper? IMO it should be an open platform. It's understandable that they haven't done it yet but runkeeper is one of the largest fitness apps out there and it totally makes sense to get it done. They have an API.

Same sentiments..
I've been an avid user of both MyFitnessPal AND Runkeeper, and I must say that it's REALLY high and good time that these two remarkable apps get linked together. The greatest two apps linked together would be a DREAM come true. In fact, I'd even PAY for them to be linked. |
