The human body can be beautiful and we should not be so body averse. Do you feel that way when you look at a nude statue in a museum?

This is a fitness site. People should feel comfortable showing their progress. Also, it's 2012, and puritanism died out a long time ago.

I don't consider it "gross" or "disgusting" unless an obese person is wearing it.

Wow this is rude. So on a weight loss site the only people aloud to be confident in their bodies are fit people!?

And yes I agree with the OP, they should not be aloud at all, it clearly states in the terms and conditions no under wear pictures.

SEEE SOMEONE GETS IT TOO!!!!!

while I wouldn't personally do it, a thong can help show the fact that you've worked your butt off or up, as in a butt lift from all the exercises done. To each their own. They want their butt in everyone's face and don't care, good on them.

Exactly!! it's just a photo u can look away, it take WORK to get a good bumm if you're aren't brazillian.. =)

Good work btw ipuffyheartcompetingdrinker

Thats why they make spandex that COVER ur butt. . . not show so much skin. . . .

I guarantee you if you were attractive that you would be much more of an exhibitionist.

so because im ugly im not an exhibitionist?? nah i just have dignity , self respect and dont give into creepo guys like u that want to see it

So...is there a reason you have your cleavage on display in your pics? Pot meet kettle. Kettle says ohai.
October 11, 2012 11:26 AM
While a person is not nude, I think it says more about the person complaining about the picture than it does the person in the picture.

Not what I said at all. Everyone is "allowed" to be confident in their bodies. The OP said what she found to be gross or disgusting, I simple said what I found to be the same. We each have our own personal viewpoints.

Your spelling needs work dear.

No need to be critical, I am sure it was "simply" an oversight.

LOL

well then apple needs a better spell check

I fail to see the difference between a thong/underwear pic and a bikini pic. Nothing pornographic is on display so what's the problem?

Just to follow up to what the OP wrote. Whether you want to accuse them of being a tattle tale (against guidelines too) or not the bottom line is that pictures of men and women in thongs is a violation of the guidelines. Any user with a profile picture in violation of guideline number 12 will be warned for a first offense and subsequent profile picture violators will have their photo upload privileges blocked.

The OP is well within her rights to request to not have to see this. Our site requires any post to be filtered through our guidelines first.

Cheers,
Scott
