I am having the oddest sensation right now. It feels like morning sickness. Ha, wouldn't that be hilarious?!? I feel a little nauseated, but I also feel like I want to eat something. Maybe it's my reaction to setting the clocks back. tongue Who knows?

Sounds like a hangover to melaugh laugh no , seriously when I get dehydrated I feel like that.

Okay, Diana, what kind of puppy? Just because I think you're crazy doesn't mean I'm not a little jealous. I love puppies.

I am looking at a Cavalier King Charles Spaniel. I will post a picture of the maybe potential one in the future.

I can't believe I haven't logged on in three days. I guess that accounts for the 5 pounds I put on in the last two weeks. Comfort food galore in my house as we continue to host different family members who can't live in their home. It was a very long day yesterday. We had a reporter come by an interview us. Thing is, we were lucky to even get to our house as so many are still restricted in seeing what of their homes are left. Very sad.....but we will get through. Will catch up on posts another time.

I can't even imagine having to go through that. Agreeing with Marla that things can be replaced but people cannot. What a great family you have to all join in on the clean up and to host others that can't access their homes.

Wow, what a week. Worked Cat Duty and took claims a few nights and then 6 hrs Saturday. Today I worked at the diner and it was slammed. My feet are KILLING me.....but they are better than 8 wks ago when I started. The hip muscle, quads and glutes are getting used to it also. All great stuff!

At least I was able to walk to my apt from my car without crying todaytongue I remember the first weekend. I had worked Sat and Sun. As I pulled into my parking spot I was crying, as my feet felt like they were double the size. My left food has some issue with hammer toe what ever thingy, and it makes the 2nd toe, on the bottom, at the ball of the foot............hurt like HELLsad

So to walk without crying is a good thinglaugh

It was fun too! Some of my friends stopped in and they always over tipdrinker But the day was meh until 12:45 (we close at 1grumble ) a party of 10 came in. The other waitress said she would wait on them as they tip $20, but will be there until 2. I told her I would do it (when God puts food in your mouth, chew!)

So I had a great day money wise and had fun, too. Life is good.

K was here for a baby shower and brought my grand dog. We had dinner last night with P and J at a great place on the water. J turned 27 this week, so we had to celebrate his birthday. I know we love our kids.........but I LIKE them too!

Food has been shiznit this week. ohwell I actually went to McDonalds for 2 cheeseburgers and small friesnoway I must go to the grocery store tomorrow after work to get healthy food for the week so this can stop!

I love you all!!

Unless they spiked the bottled water at the high school play last night, it's not a hangover. Hmm, I wonder... wink

Those are pretty dogs. I bet they're really cute as pups!

Ladies....turning political for just a moment.....bare with me.... (edited to add: I mean, "bear" with me....please remain fully clothed....)

You all know who I'm voting for. You all know how I feel about our current president. You all know what party I tend to support. This is not new.

However, President Obama has come to New Jersey, and my Republican governor has thanked him publicly, and praised him for his help, support, et cetera. All I've heard within my humble abode is how horrible it is that Christie did this. Republicans, including my husband, are outraged. One guy tells Christie to be ready to shoulder the blame now if Romney loses.

um....what? For speaking his heart?

the thing that's detestable about politics is, well, the politics of it all. If you're "this" party, you can't say anything good about "that" person in "that" party because you may lose votes.

Gaaaah!!!!!!!

Christie was asked yesterday to answer the critics who suggested by his praise of Obama in the aftermath of Hurricane Sandy that it may mean he is now endorsing him for president....and what about Mitt Romney?

Christie, in his inimitable way, let the guy have it. I see myself in this guy. I love him. I can be "Republican" or "conservative" and love and thank and say good things about "you" in the "Democrat" or "liberal" side of things.

I hate partisan hacks....and am not thrilled to feel tonight that I'm married to one. I hate hypocrisy. Hate me because I'm an asshat, not because I'm Republican. And I'll do the same.

I want integrity. I want honesty. I get it from my governor.....the day I stop getting it is the day I stop supporting him. Yes, I'm way concerned about Benghazi and all the seeming cover-up....but if the guy comes to your state to help, and does a good job....you thank and acknowledge it.

Quite frankly, I think our current choice of president is the lesser of two lying evils..... I'll hold my nose on Tuesday and pull the lever.

Political rant over....

Good night, beloved friends.
