Can we please get it added where we get notified when we get comments on our posts? I hate when I see that I have a reply to something that is days old or even weeks old.

Agree! Please! Add notifications for when you get comments on your status and on statuses you've commented on, so you know if/when to reply on something

Yes! I can't believe this isn't a standard feature. Come MFP, get your tech team on this!

My biggest bugbear and therefore my biggest feature request for MFP is as follows;

When I comment on someone else's status (such as "Well done, keep it up" to one of my friends in response to him saying he has lost some weight), I don't get notified when he or anyone else responds to that as a follow-up comment. There might be a great little chat going on in that thread, but I have no idea because I am not notified. Similarly, if someone comments on my status and I respond to them, they don't get notified so there is no point doing so.

Please fix this!

Thanks

Terry

I completely agree with this. I would love to have notifications of comments from posts I comment on... as a way to keep up in case someone responds back to my comment. Or, just an overall notification drop down (like there is on Facebook). I personally hate having email on my gmail account for every single comment. I've gotten to where I just refresh the page every few minutes to see if there's a new comment. I would love an on-site notification place.

I also suggest getting a "LIKE" button on this site.

I had even suggested that earlier. I like the "like" idea and the notification idea. I know MFP is a huge site, but that also makes keeping current on threads,, forums and chats even harder without the little "helpers" If you leave the site, you're lost when you come back as far as knowing if you've had comments, replies, etc. Even when you stay on site, you lose track.

** Perhaps when you post, there can be an option to "follow thread" or "unfollow thread"?
Those threads that you choose to follow can be listed in a sidebar and you can link to them easily? Perhaps replace the'recent forum posts' with this?
Just an idea. Certain features such as "my topics" are probably underused because they are not as clear as they could be.
The site could use a little update. These things take tweaking. The important thing is for your site designers to actually use the system themselves everyday in order to understand its needs.
