I love making different combos of these oatmeal balls, my favorite is stil lthe basic oatmeal and raisin. But I found some packages of instant oatmeal on sale and decided to experiment with the dark chocolate one.
Kellogg's - All-Bran (Original), 1/2 cup 80
Quaker Oats - Old Fashioned Oatmeal, 1/2 cup dry 150
Better Oats Lavish - Dark Chocolate Old Fashioned Instant Oatmeal, 1 pouch (44g) 160
Bob's Red Mill - Shredded Unsweetened Coconut, 11.25 g (3 Tblespn) 75
Whole Foods 365 - Dark Chocolate Mini Chunks, 1 Tbsp (15g) 70
Bananas - Raw, 0.5 medium (7" to 7-7/8" long) 53
Condiments: Better'n Peanut Butter - Chocolate, 1 Tbsp 50
Per Serving: 53
Makes 12 balls
Mix all ingredients together in a bowl. Form into balls (you can refrigerate first so they are less sticky and easier to form but I never do this). Lay out on parchment paper on a plate or just on the plate and put in fridge to firm up. Store in a baggie or tupperwear in fridge or freezer. I love them right out of the freezer.
I can't make them too often because I always eat too many.
