I, like many people, work rather unusual hours and as such my "day" ends at about 8am rather than midnight and I'm usually having dinner around 4 or 5 am. I would love to be able to adjust what time it changes to the next day on the diary.

Based on my (admittedly limited) programming experience I wouldn't think that this would be terribly difficult as this is already adjusted based on time zone, and I'm pretty sure that all that would be required would be a per account +/- modifier to that value. Just my two cents, obviously I don't know the specifics of the code behind the site.

Thanks guys,

my home > settings > change time zone

Depending on where you're actually at this may not allow you to shift enough time zones west before running over the International Date Line and running to the day ahead but you could try it.

Or you could change your logging habits, IE breakfast is the first meal you eat when you get up even if that's 4 pm for logging purpose... and then dinner is the last meal before closing the diary... you just log the "meals" on the day it will be when you'll be completing the diary IE it's Tuesday right now.... your next diary completion for a full day would be Wednesday morning for your "day" so when you eat Tuesday evening log it on Wednesday morning (still have to change a day ahead for the one meal anyway) and then keep adding food to Wednesday, when you finish "dinner" Wednesday morning and click close your diary is done and posts to your newsfeed as you just closed Wednesdays diary on Wed.

Thanks for the suggestions, I have already thought of and/or tried both of those options. Changing my logging habits doesn't work so well since I tend to decide what I'm having for dinner based on what I have already had that day (My earlier meals have much more limited options). I am actually using a different time zone as a temporary solution, but it only partially solves the problem and, frankly, as a workaround, it is somewhat aesthetically displeasing. I am currently using this workaround but would love to see an actual feature added to change the "new day" time.
