My husband and I purchased a Total Gym for each other and we use it regularly - well, so far, this past week. It would be very helpful if you would include the calories burned for the workouts. They could be low incline, medium incline and high incline; number of repititions; and/or amount of time.

Calories burned ie totally linked to your weight. So its different for everyone. i can burn around 110 calories for each kilometre. but my gf burns around 95.

You should get yourself a heart rate monitor that tracks calories burnt. then you can track exactly what you're burning. Not hugely expensive, but good if you're serious about weight loss!

According to livestrong.com the total gym burns 210 calories an hour with mild use and 420 calories and hour with vigorous use for approx a 160 pound person. Hope this helps! I love my total gym :)

My husband and I love our total gym, too. I prefer working out in private, and as a creature of habit, I like routine & consistency. I also agree that a heart monitor is the way to go to track calories burned.

We have a Total Gym also and we LOVE it! I am going to have to go get a heart rate monitor, because like everyone else. I didn't know how many calories I was burning! I usually do a 30 minute workout every few days, but I work until I feel the burn so I FEEL like I'm burning some calories! :)

Yes. A count for the Total Gym DVD workout would be very welcome. Does anyone with a heartrate monitor have a guesstimate as to calorie count for someone at 150 lbs doing the low incline (beginners) level?
