I would like to join the walking challenge. On Oct. 1, I walked for 20 mins and today I did a 30 min boot camp that included walking for 10mins. flowerforyou

i'm in for the last today been down wit a cold hope to get back to walking tomorrow i usely walk about 5 mile a day.

October 1- Bicycle,10-12 mph, 70 mins, 9.02 miles, 321 calories
October 2- One hour Pilates
October 3- 21/2 hours general gardening

Hmmm... I'm a bit late to the party, but will join in and record my walking for the first two days of October:

10/1--65 minutes at 3 mph
10/2-- 65 minutes at 3 mph

Walking is my main form of exercise. It's cheap and accessible, and I enjoy it. I try to go 5 days of the 7 in the week. When I travel I try to find a walking trail at my destination or take advantage of one on the way-- makes it interesting to walk in new places.

October 1: 30 minute walk on the beach and a forest path so I logged it as a short hike.
October 3: 60 minute walk (with 25 minutes of C25K intervals within it) Yesterday I did Aquafit so no walk.

I started walking with this video where you walk and do little things like kicks and knee lifts and side steps

Boot Camp 30mins intense work out
walked for 15 mins afterward

Hi everyone! My name is Denise. I walked 45 minutes today. About 2.5 miles. My goal is to do at least 3 miles everyday. I really want to build up my resistance to be able to run everyday. Right now I can only jog for about a minute and thirty seconds at a time and I'm totally out of breath. :( at least it's more than when I started I guess.

I forgot to post yesterday. I got in about 6 miles walking my children to and from school on Walk to School Day.

October 5: 25 minutes ( I went to take some pictures to use in my art class I teach and decided to park so I had a nice walk there and back) I might take a longer walk tonight with my husband but at least I did this.

Oct 5: I walked 3.25 miles today. Total 12.25 miles. Started out with great weather but ended up in the pouring rain. Oh well, it's still Friday!! Canadian Thanksgiving, so a long weekend - hurray!!

All I do is walk so I would love to join. I actually use a app called RunKeeper! I love this app. Last months goal was 50 miles and I missed it by 2. So for October I will go for 60 miles!
So far I walked 7.5 miles.
