TOPIC: Option for logging in pedometer reports

My name is Nadia. I have been using myfitnesspal for 2 years now. I can easily say that when I consistently use my calorie and exercise logs, I see weight loss, I feel better, and I lead a healthy lifestyle. I love the app for iPhone, it is so convenient. I do have a quick suggestion. I think it would be an excellent idea to have an option to add steps walked to the exercise diary. Many people who live in big cities walk frequently, and this activity counts as exercise. Pedometers are great because they log steps throughout the whole day, so if there was a pedometer option on MFP, people could easily log in their activity without the mess of time conversions. Just a thought! Thank you again for such a helpful and invaluable tool.

You can do it, just not quite in the exercise section.
my home > check in > track additional measurements
add a measurement for "Daily Steps" and you can track how many steps you took each day as per your pedometers reported figure.

I see it can be added that way, but that does not enter data for exercise and calorie burned.
